The Placement Department is headed by an Experienced Personnel, Mr. Ernest Devadass, an Ex-IIMBian assisted by One Assistant Placement Officer and having a small group of dedicated and committed staff. The department is provided with all the facilities to enable the deserving students of the Institution to get competitive placements. Reputed companies are visiting our Institute regularly. Pool Campus events are also arranged and many other college students are participating and benefitted by the Pool Campus Programmes. As many as 30-40 companies like IBM India ,Thomson Reuters, UNISYS, CISCO Systems, SYNTEL, GLOBAL EDGESOFTWARE, L&T Valdel, TVS etc., are visiting our Institute regularly. About 70% of eligible students are placed in every year. Placement Department is arranging Training on Aptitude Test and Soft Skills before students are attending for campus recruitment program. Many of our students are recruited by very reputed companies are dominating and are doing extremely good.

Shaping Characters, Moulding Minds, Nurturing Talents are the key aim of any institution and so also the Vision of our Chairman Mr. R. Krishnappa, who dedicated his life for the quality education. SRSIT have eminent Faculty Members, not only Academicians, but drawn from various Industrial backgrounds who are experts in their respective fields. They cover not only VTU syllabus, but also change the mindset of the students according to the needs of the Corporate World.

The entire team is led by experienced Education lists who are the Boards of Governors headed by an Education Architects Prof. T. Basavaraju and Prof. Rangaswamy Gowda to bring in not only quality education but also an excellent infrastructure facilities to the students.

Besides, SRSIT Placement Cell is one such wing committed, dedicated and determined to place the meritorious students in International Organizations and Top MNCs across the world. The placement cell is well equipped with Hi-Tech facilities, such as a Seminar Hall, fully built in with a seating capacity of 200 students, 10 GD Rooms & Interview Halls, a Rest Room for the Executives who visits our beautiful Campus, which is free from all pollution and noise. So far, 70% of the students have been placed from all the branches and efforts are being taken for 100% Placement to all the students. I wish all the students a bright future in all their endeavors. The Placement Officer contact industries and invites them for campus recruitments. Guesthouse accommodation, local hospitality and other infrastructural facilities are provided to the industries to effectively and efficiently conduct campus selection programs. The department has been successful in getting a number of industries to visit SRSIT for campus recruitment.

These include IBM, Wipro GE, Sonata Software, Robert Bosch, Secon GSD, Sunrise Computers, Siemens Software's, Nichie Software Solutions, Integra Software Carritor, Tyco Electronics etc., A large number of students are getting placed in the industry through campus recruitment.
